HI my name is Tim and i have a bad habit of never finishing any of my projects

i have lots of cool ideas, i spend allot of time planning them ... i start them... then never finish it

i dont like this i think its a bad character floor of mine and id like it to change

Soooo i'm hoping this thread will encourage me to finish off the projects that are on hold and to start AND complete all the other ones that are stuck in my head

some will be car related others are just for fun

over the next few days ill dig them out and chuck up pics

to start with is the light saber handle (yes im a little geeky sometimes)

its 316 stainless

it has sat in my tool box for about 7 years unfinished

this is the start to my drift trike

iv already spent abit of coin on the project and half thought about making a few "heavy duty" drift trikes to sell
it seemed every one was running the kids toy versions and they brake all the time

i did a few drawings and got half way there

i stopped because i wanted to buy a pipe bender and a notching tool and just never had the money

some traction bracket drawings

i actually got half way through making these all by hand with files and hack saw as i dident have a milling machine at the time

then sold the car

think i threw them in the bin when i moved house

and im wrecking my smashed up civic (stupid roos)

its not a fabracation project but its somthing i have started that i really want to finish

and there is a little bit of me that would love to start a 86 wrecking yard so this is practice.... but not any time soon ha ha

so these are just the projects i have actually started and in my mind are worth finishing

i have many MANY more stuck in my head or as scribles on bits of paper but if i cant finish these ones why start more?

this is somthing i would like to change about my self

so lets see how this goes

Bit of what im up to at work

im a fitter so dont do loads of fabrication
this is a new platform to replace a rather scary old one

and my very first stair case (technically its a ladder with steps because of the angle)

then fully welded it

fairly happy with it all so far

Ha ha might bring it into work for some finishing touches

The idea I really wanted to do would be best on a milling machine

The one we have is fairly ordinary...

Thinking I might make Mondays stay at work and use machines night
