Hi guys,

Has anyone tried to fit oil pressure gauge to their hachi and found there isn't much room for a sandwich plate to go when the AE86 has both AC and Power steering.

My car is currently with Pete (pulse auto elec) who is very switched on guy and he can't seem to find another way to fit it… without a smaller sandwich plate… maybe something AE86 16v specific.

I bought the DEFI DIN gauge set which look awesome but really want to get them working properly.

if anyone has had any experience with that please let me know.

Run a remote filter housing and put the sensors in the remote section. There is an Allen key grub screw in the side of the oil pump that is useful for oil temp. You need a 3/8 bsp to 1/8 bsp reducer for your defi sensor. May need to grind the ps bracket slightly to get it to fit. Don't recommend running the pressure sensor in it though as its too close to the pump and will probably still be pulsing. You could run the pressure sensor in the stock position if unwilling to run a remote housing.
