think it would be fine mate... cig arnt that cheap though. honestly i havnt had much to do with them as all our stuff is fronius. but it seems to have all the bells and whistles.

ill be looking for something similar shortly to try and improve my alu skills at home as i never get to do any at work.

yeah none of our fronius welders are ac dc.

we have a beat up old girl and a really nice kempi... both 3 phase. they are the only ac dc welders we have.

that actually looks really good.

only ting i would investigate is whether it has ramp up and and ramp down, and a pedal attachment they are handy :)

made a beer mug for my old man for his biay.... even engraved it myself :)



pain in the arse this stuff.... 1 inch thin wall tubing. but was good practice for essentially my first time notching and welding tubes like this...










decent flange to shed 10 pipe.... another first. too many stops and starts, i still havnt got the hang of hiding them that well :S

So as most will know I'm guessing, I'm no longer working.

But I am capable of welding a bit here and there. So here are a few of my adventures lately.

Alas nothing overly awesome. But stuff to keep me busy.

Ps fuck I miss work. Looking back through this has made me all sorts of mellow lol
