Hi im sam and im from auckland new zealand and im 16. A few months ago a brought my first ae86 it is a 1986 gt-apex notchback levin panda (imported from japan by me). I am currently stripping it to do some rust repairs and paintt then i will be getting on the road here in new zealand.

A few of the thing it came with when imported:
- aftermarket suspension potenza gymkana with adjustable camber
- x3 14" ssr longchamps
- x2 15" ssr longchamps
- aftermarket exhaust
Other than these things it was pretty much stock

Some parts i brought

Brought these 13" supersstars with the intention of widening them then i decided i wanted to run 14s because it was a bit more practical


Kouki bumper picked up from yahoo auctions because mine had a zenki.


Goodline bumper that i also brought


Bride zeta 2 which i picked up with all the accessories for very very cheap

Got these riverside r101s 14x8.5 -20



tire size that i will be running is 185/55/R14
These wheels stick out the guard a bit aswell haha. Once it is lowered i will look at doing some guard work


Will be getting adjustable suspension soon


The wheels are red right now but I plan to paint them black to look like these

Some bucket seats my and my brother picked up in the weekend. pretty happy with all of them. I also have bride rails coming from japan for my zeta 2

recaro spg and 2x bride brix

This is such a great first car, although I'm a little older than you it was my first too! If you ever get around to it, I'd be interested to know how well or poorly the Recaro seat fits.

Its great to see the passion is strong. Don't ever sell this car. Love the fact you are stock piling so many parts already.

Can I ask where you purchased it from in Japan? And how much?

Sick wheels. look good in black!.
My dad is a car importer and I was looking for one for over a year. This one came up and it was pretty much rust free. Sorry i don't really tell anyone how much it was.

Ah, yes. It's always great to know someone who can help hunt down a mint example. I was kind of wondering why the car was in a massive warehouse (that looked a bit like a car yard. Unless this is just a personal shed, in that case... whoa!).
